Accruals allow you to track and manage employee time-off benefits, such as sick time and vacation, by accumulating time based on work hours. Before employees can request leave, accruals must be set up and assigned to their profiles.

For instructions on adding Accruals to your Grandd Central Account, please refer to this article.

If your organization has complex accruals & grants that will require custom scripting, please reach out to support@findd.io.

Once you have added overarching account Accruals, you'll assign them (think of them as a bucket) to your employees:

  1. Navigate to Employee Profiles:

    • From the left-hand menu, select Employees.

    • Choose the employee whose accruals you want to manage.

    • Click on the Accruals tab within their profile.

  2. Add Accrual Buckets: To add an accrual bucket manually, click the blue plus button.

  3. To allow employees to request time off from this bucket, you'll select the "Use for Leave Tracking" toggle. Enabling this toggle will also display the "Probationary Period" field.

    1. The Accrual Probation End Date is typically used for new hires who have a probationary period. During this period, employees will not be eligible to use accrued or granted time.

  4. Select an "Accrual Type" from the overarching account's accruals list and then Save your changes.

If you want to add a leave request from Grandd Central, here you will find detailed instructions.

Employees can also submit leave requests from the Findd app. For more details, please visit this article.

The Leave Tracking section allows you to see your employees' leave requests; go to your Grandd Central Account and select the Leave Tracking tab on the left-hand side menu. For more details on how to View Leave Requests, please visit this article.
