We’re excited to announce Findd Engage — our next-generation mobile time clock app for biometric timekeeping. While both Findd Mobile and Findd Engage serve as time clock solutions, the new app brings powerful additional capabilities and will be the focus of all future development.
Why Move to Findd Engage?
Findd Engage offers everything you already rely on in Findd Mobile, plus:
Spanish & French language support for a more inclusive employee experience
Employee Self Service (ESS) access within the app, including:
Timecard approval
Leave request submission
Access to files
Access to badges & employee data (if HR is implemented for your account)
Future-ready features, with planned enhancements such as liveness detection for improved biometric security
Note: While Findd Mobile will remain available for now, there is no active development on that app. All future improvements will be built in Findd Engage. A discontinuation date for Findd Mobile will be announced in the future.
How to Transition to Findd Engage
To ensure a smooth switch, we recommend the following steps:
Review User Policy Settings
The toggles below control what is displayed in Findd Engage for each employee. For example, if you are only using Findd for biometrics (no time management within Findd), you'd want all of these turned OFF. If you'd like employees to be able to request time off from the app, you'd want Show Mobile Leave Tracking turned ON. If you have questions on the function of each toggle, reach out to our team.
If User Policy toggles need to be adjusted for ALL employees at once (all employees will have the same app view), please reach out to support so the Findd team can automate this for you.
Send Notice & Instructions to Your Internal Teams
Inform employees about the upcoming change
Provide download links and login instructions for Findd Engage
Re-register Devices on Findd Engage
This can be done incrementally to avoid overloading administrators
Optionally, allow employees to self-register in Individual Mode using an email invitations
