Findd offers a powerful feature that allows you to prompt employees with questions when they punch in and punch out. This is incredibly useful for gathering important, timely information right at the start or end of a shift.

Follow these steps to create punch questions:
Step 1: Accessing Punch Question Settings
In GrandCentral, navigate to the Hierarchy tab on the left-hand menu, then click Settings.
Locate the Punch Questions drop-down. Click on it, then toggle "Use Punch Question" to the "On" position indicated by the blue toggle.
Once enabled, three icons will appear next to "Punch Questions." These allow you to view, edit, or delete your questions. To begin customizing, click the pencil icon.
Step 2: Customizing Your Punch Questions
The editing page provides extensive control over your punch questions:
Introduction Page Message: You can set up an introductory message for either punch-in or punch-out. Simply fill in the title, button label, and the introduction message itself. This is perfect for important announcements or daily reminders.
Exception Confirmation Screen: If an employee's answer triggers an exception, you can configure a specific confirmation message to appear. Enter a title and button label for this screen.
Language Selection: Findd supports multiple languages, allowing you to present questions in the employee's preferred language.
Question Order: Easily rearrange the sequence of your questions by dragging them using the three stacked lines icon located to the left of each question.
Step 3: Adding New Questions
To add a new question for either punching in or punching out, click the plus icon on the corresponding tab. A pop-up form will appear. Fill in the details for your new question. You can always return and edit a question later by clicking its pencil icon.
Main Question Page (when initially adding a question):
Name: This is an internal reference name displayed at the top of the question form.
Workflow Button #1 & #2: These crucial settings determine the action taken based on the employee's selection. You can configure them to allow an exception or even prevent a punch from being recorded if a certain button is chosen.
Frequency: Define how often the question should be asked (e.g., every punch, once per day, etc.).
Question Edit Page (after clicking the pencil icon on an existing question):
Title: This text will appear above the punch question within the Findd app.
Question: This is the actual question your employees will read and answer.
Button Labels: These are the possible answers to your question, such as "Yes" or "No," or "Agree" or "Disagree."
Important: Always remember to Save all your changes before navigating away from the page.
