Punch Export Errors and Solutions

We export punches for our clients that also use a third-party program (Winteam, Paycom, etc) for payroll or edit/keep track of punches. Sometimes punches do not export over successfully so the program sends us back an error of why they failed.

Export Errors and Solutions:

Invalid Job Number

  • Meaning

    • The job number in Team does not match what we sent over from Grandd Central

  • Solution

    • Check job number on job details screen or cost center number on hierarchy details screen

Mobile TeamTime is not allowed for this Job

  • Meaning

    • The Mobile TeamTime checkbox in Winteam is not checked

  • Solution

    • Go into Winteam under the Mobile TeamTime section and select the box for “Allow Mobile TeamTime for this Job”

You are outside the location parameter

  • Meaning

    • The location coordinates sent over do not match what is in WinTeam

  • Solution

    • Make sure locations match between WinTeam and Grandd Central. If there is location in WinTeam, but not Grandd Central, add under Job or vice versa.

The creator of this fault did not specify a Reason

  • Meaning

    • The receiving program went down for a period of time

  • Solution

    • You can re-export failed punches to see if they push through, if not you will have to reach out to your representative with that program.
