Depending on device mode, employees can select a location while punching. Although they can select the predetermined job location, the GPS location of where the employee is physically located will be tracked. If the employee is not near the location, a location exception will be generated.
Selecting A Location While Punching
If the device mode is a clock or mobile clock the employee will enter their clock pin.
Depending on device mode, employee will either see their profile picture or their current location.
Located beneath the green punch button, is the location tab.
Tap the location tab to reveal the locations available and select a location.
Tap Done to go back to the punch screen and punch as normal. Simple as that!
Remember, location exceptions will still be generated if employee is not physically located at selected location!
