Web Punching is an option for employees to log into a limited view of Grandd Central and log time. This feature is a flexible alternative to using a dedicated device. Please note that biometrics are not available on Web Punching.
How to Enable Web Punching for an Employee
To ensure an employee can use the Web Punching feature, an administrator must enable the necessary permissions in their profile.
Navigate to the employee's User Profile.
Under the User Policy section, toggle the "Self Service Login" option to ON.
Confirm that a login email is added to the employee's profile.
How Employees Use Web Punching
Once the feature is enabled, employees can easily punch in and out by following these steps:
1. Access the Web Platform
Go to app.findd.io in your web browser.
Log in using your assigned credentials.
2. Find the Web Punch Option
After logging in, you will see the "Web Punch" option located next to your name.
3. Record Your Punch
The current date and time will be displayed automatically.
If you have a default job and position assigned, you can directly click the "Web Punch" button.
If you need to select a job:
Tap the "+" sign right under "Choose Job."
Select the job you want to punch into from the list provided.
You can then select your specific Position.
Once your selections are made, click the "Web Punch" button to record your punch.

Important Note:
Once a punch has been added to an employee's timecard, it cannot be edited by the employee. If you need to make a correction or require assistance with a punch, please contact your direct manager for help.
