This article outlines the steps to effectively manage client information within the Clients tab in Grandd Central.
Adding a New Client
Adding a new client is a straightforward process that helps you keep track of all your client relationships.
Navigate to the Clients tab in the menu bar.
Ensure you are at the correct level of hierarchy before adding a client. You can adjust the hierarchy level at the top right of the screen.
Click the blue + button to add a new client.
Once added, click on the client's name to view their details.
Updating Client Information
Use the drop-down arrow to access client details.
Fill in all the desired information (e.g., email, phone, address, birthdate, notes).
Once the details are completed, close the drop-down tab.
You can also add Contacts, Positions, and Jobs to this client using the menu bar below.
Managing Contacts
The Contacts tab allows you to store important contact persons associated with each client.
Under the Contacts tab, click on the blue + button.
Enter the first and last name of the contact and click Save.
Next, click on the contact's name to fill in all their information (email, phone, address, birthdate, notes, etc.).
Managing Positions
The Positions tab helps you track the different roles and tasks associated with your client's projects.
Navigate to the Positions tab within the client's section.
Click the blue + button and fill in the position's details (name, tasks, start date, end date, cost code, etc.).
Managing Jobs
The Jobs tab shows you which jobs your client is currently tied to.
Adding a New Job from the Client View
Navigate to the Jobs tab in the menu bar.
Ensure you are at a level of the hierarchy where you can add a job.
Click the blue + button to add a new job.
Fill in the job's information and click the grey + button to add the client to this new job.
Adding a Client to an Existing Job
Managing Schedules and Shifts
Navigate to the Clients tab.
When you add a schedule or a shift directly through this tab, the system will automatically associate the client you are currently viewing or creating with that new schedule or shift.
Deleting Clients
The Clients tab is designed for easy management. If you no longer work for a client, you can easily remove them from your system.
Simply select the box next to the clients you want to delete.
Then, click the trash can icon.
