First Time Logging Into ESS

When a new hire is added to the system (with a phone number), depending on the account configuration, they'll receive a text message with a link to begin their application/onboarding forms. To access Employee Self Service (ESS), they'll either click on the link in the text or go to https://ess.findd.io/login. Follow the directions below to access your ESS account for the first time. This article will cover logging in with an authorization token AND a password. A password can be set by the administrator if the employee does not receive an authorization token. If you don't have a phone number, your administrator will provide a password to log in with your email address. If you have any questions, reach out to support@findd.io.

Logging In Via SMS (Auth. Token)

1. You will receive a text message to start your application. Click this link. Otherwise, type ess.findd.io into your browser.

2. Type in your mobile phone number > click Next. Do not close this page

3. A login token will be texted to you. Copy this number.

4. Go back to the https://ess.findd.io/ess page and paste the login token

5. Fill out the Security Questions > and hit Next. Make sure to remember the answers to your security questions!

Once you have set up security questions, logging in will be very quick. We use authorization tokens to verify that the correct person is logging in. If you have any questions about this process, please reach out to your administrator or Findd's support team!

Logging In With A Password

1. You will receive a text message to start your application. Click this link. Otherwise, type ess.findd.io into your browser.

2. Type in your Email Address > click Login with password. Do not close this page.

3. Type the Password provided by your Administrator > click Login.

4. Fill out the Security Questions > and hit Next
